A deep circular form anchors the centre of the composition, emerging from a warm ochre background with the quiet presence of a distant horizon or setting sun. Fine continuous lines travel across the surface in fluid, unbroken movements, weaving around the central shape and introducing a sense of rhythm that contrasts with the stillness of the darker form. Subtle distressed textures within the circle add depth and materiality, allowing the surface to reveal traces of gesture and time.
