Liza Murphy is a Sydney-based illustrator and designer whose work is inspired by the places around her and has a uniquely Australian feel. Living in Sydney, she draws inspiration from local beaches, coastal suburbs, city streets, architecture and everyday Australian life. Her colourful illustrations combine bold shapes and simple colour palettes with a slightly nostalgic, modern style. Liza has worked with brands including Citadel Gin, ELMO Software and Koala, created licensed work for Hardie Grant and Hachette, and had her illustrations featured in Gourmet Traveller. Her work is all about celebrating familiar places and creating artwork that feels joyful, colourful and connected to Australia.
