Born in 1989 in Abidjan, Lukas has, since 2013, developed a hybrid artistic practice combining painting, ceramics, textiles, and digital art. Trained as a musician, he early on transposed his synesthetic perception into the pictorial field, developing a language where light, matter, and the imprint of archetypes confront each other across various media (canvas, screen, textiles...). Guided by what C.G. Jung describes as the collective unconscious, he explores the tensions between nature and urbanity, memory and modernity. A nomadic and committed artist, he multiplies exhibitions (Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, La Réunion, Louisville...), workshops, exchanges with diverse audiences, and extraordinary experiences—from Space Art with SpaceX to the international NFT scene with the SOMA collective, which he co-founded in 2023. Lukas builds a shifting trajectory, driven by intuition, movement, and engagement with contemporary transformations. Since 2023, he has been based on the island of La Réunion, pursuing a more telluric exploration in contact with the raw energies of life, in a constant interplay between archaism and future speculation. His work offers an uncompromising vision: the canvas as a space of experience, collision, and survival.
