SHOP GIANT ART BY FRIDGEARTE FROM CRIB OF ART

Nicholas G. Ashton, professionally known as FridgeArte, is a self-taught contemporary abstract artist based in Utah. His emotionally charged work is created through an instinctive, action-based process centered on movement, pressure, survival, and transformation. Ashton begins by tearing canvas directly from the roll, choosing its size according to what he is carrying internally. He frequently works on a custom spinning easel, allowing rotation, gravity, momentum, and interruption to influence each composition. Paint is poured, dragged, scraped, layered, removed, and redirected using brushes, hands, rags, sticks, scrapers, and unconventional tools. His paintings explore identity, memory, subconscious tension, resilience, chaos, and hope. Presented under the FridgeArte name, his work has appeared in physical exhibitions, international digital presentations, publications, and artist features in the United States and abroad.
