Olayemi Olamilekan is a Nigeria artist .Olayemi was born and raised in Lagos and acquired industrial experience through internship at adeyemi studio and gallery ,which is run by the iconic Dr Kunle Adeyemi (former HOD of school of art and design yaba college of technology).also acquired an advanced theory of painting and techniques from master Ken aesthetics studio.he was admitted to the prestigious yaba college of technology yaba Lagos to study art and design in 2013 and later proceed learning to acquired BA in visual art (drawing and painting) in university of Lagos akoka in 2016. He graduated from the institution in 2021 with a bachelor of art in creative art (painting).

Artist statement:
The pictures I draw are the things I see everyday. I want people to see how things are where I live by picturing the landscapes of my environment and the beauty of colour in the atmosphere by capturing the mood.
I like to draw and paint portraits showing emotions with the black characters both male and females representing our culture heritage as Africa.
